1. Controller and contact
MacLee is part of Van der Lee Creation, based in Málaga, Spain. Questions and privacy requests can be submitted through the contact page and its private-message channels.
2. Data we may process
We may process contact details and message content you choose to send, Academy identity and enrolment details, learning progress, and limited technical or security logs. The public site can use a country code supplied with a web request to select a language.
MacLee measures page views, admission interest and application-security events without analytics cookies. We store the page path, country code, selected language, referring domain and a daily rotating one-way visitor identifier. Raw IP addresses and full referrer URLs are not stored in MacLee analytics.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use data to answer requests and take steps before an agreement, deliver Academy services under an agreement, protect the site and restricted workspace on the basis of legitimate interests, meet legal duties, and use consent where the law requires it.
4. Providers and international processing
Hosting, authentication and social-media providers may process data for us or when you use their platforms. Some processing may take place outside the EEA subject to the safeguards offered by the relevant provider and applicable law.
5. Retention and security
Contact requests are kept only as long as needed for follow-up, normally no longer than 12 months without an ongoing relationship. Academy and transaction records are retained for service delivery and applicable legal periods. Anonymous website event data is retained for up to 120 days and application-security events for up to 90 days. Access is restricted and reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used.
6. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). Use the contact page to exercise a right.
